(about 2d vtuber stuff) maybe a dumb question but ive looked at several tutorials and they were kinda confusing bc they all acted like i already had a model to rig. what kind of things did you have to make layers for so they could move? and how many iterations of the art did u have to make?
Pretty much everything I wanted to move independently I had on a different layer, like head, eyes, different parts of the hair, etc. Here's a screenshot of all the layers I used along with what everything looked like separated:
(the english tutorial on the official live2d youtube channel helped me a lot in figuring out what should be a separate layer)
I first drew everything unseparated like I would for a normal illustration, then redrew all the separate parts over that, which was a bit tedious haha
assumption: you look like someone that loves animal crossing
heck yeah I'm so excited for ACNH!! I can't wait to decorate my island :)
🌎-If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go? Or, what's your favorite place you have visited?
ahh this one's hard to answer because there are so many places I'd like to go! I've always wanted to go to Japan, or see the art in Italy, or go to a chocolate factory in Switzerland lol
as for favorite place that I've visited, I studied abroad in Peru a few years ago and I absolutely loved it! I really really want to go back to Peru with a significant other some day, the weather was perfect, the food was amazing, and there were so many fun things to do~
🛌-Are you an early bird or night owl? What's your favorite time of day or night?
I enjoy being awake in the early morning, but my body seems to default to staying up late and sleeping to noon, so I'm gonna go with night owl lol. I also have a lot of great memories of getting really hooked in a video game and playing until the sun rises haha
I think my favorite time might be 5 am because it's so rare that I'm awake then so it kind of has a surreal feel to it~
